Carolina Raptor Center

Want a fun place to visit? Head out to the Carolina Raptor Center off North I-77. Visit: www.carolinaraptorcenter.org for more information. It's a friendly place for all ages and provides a home for raptors who have been injured, etc. There is a recommended book list for those interested in reading about raptors and tours, etc. are available. This picture was taken when my family visited there back in April.

Ballantynefyi

If you live in Charlotte and are looking for something new and different, how about heading out to Ballantyne?

Why? you might ask, well, it's made up of 2000 acres and has tons of shopping and restaurants! There is the Ballantyne Village which includes a theatre and many shops and restaurants. The Ballantyne Resort is also there which has a luxury spa and a Golf Course. It's located in southeast charlotte with convenient access of 485 at the Johnston Road exit.
